Kristjan Magnusson (C. M.) Gislason b. Oct. 28, 1866/7 (Magnus, Aldis, Jon, Thorkell, Bjarni, Helga, Bjarni)
- July 27, 1946. He emigrated to America with his parents in 1873, and raised in Lincoln County,
Minnesota. A lawyer, he graduated from the University of Minnesota, and opened his Law Office in 1894 above the Icelandic Coop in Minneota. He was president of the Minneota School Board and was a partner with Bjorn B. Gislason in the Globe Land and Loan Co. He and his wife lived in Ivanhoe, Minn, and later in Minneapolis. - Johanna Peterson, Sept. 9, 1896. She was the dau. of Johannes Petursson (b. c1844) from Stekkjarflatir, Austurdalur, Skagafjardarsysla, who lived in Burton, Minn. Johannes was
the son of Petur Thorlaksson (b. 1808) at Unastadir, Kolbeinsdal and Gudrun Gudmundsdottir the elder, his wife. Johanna d. June 27, 1952 in Hennepin Co.. She had been active in the Hekla Club,
