Árni Guðmundsson fæddist í Gullbringusýslu 24. október, 1844. Dáinn á Washingtoneyju 22. desember, 1933. Arnie G. LeeGrove vestra. Ókvæntur og barnlaus. Hann fór vestur til Milwaukee í Wisconsin árið 1870, einn fjögurra manna, sem fyrstir fóru vestur á Vesturfaratímabilinu 1870-1914. Hann fór út í Washingtoneyju sama ár og nam þar land. Bjó þar nánast alla tíð, en fór til Andabon …
