Sigurður Guðmundsson: Fæddur árið 1812 í N.Múlasýslu. Dáinn 1907. Ekkill Börn: 1. Jón f. 1845 (Snidal vestra) 2. Margrét f. 1857 3. Gunnar f. 1862 Sigurður fór einn vestur árið 1883 til sonar síns í Westerheimbyggð í Minnesota.

Gunnar Sigurðsson

Gunnar Sigurðsson fæddist í N. Múlasýslu árið 1862. Ókvæntur og barnlaus. Hann fór vestur til Kanada árið 1884 frá Asknesi í Mjóafjarðarhreppi en faðir hans, Sigurður Guðmundsson, ekkill, fór þaðan vestur árið áður. Gunnar mun hafa lært bókband og hugsanlega fundið vinnu við það.
