Halldór Jónsson fæddist í N. Múlasýslu 5. júní, 1876. Harry J. Vopni vestra. Maki: Olga Sigurðardóttir f. í Winnipeg 4. apríl, 1884, d. 6. október, 1943. Olga Davidson vestra. Barnlaus? Halldór fór vestur með Jóni, bróður sínum árið 1887. Þeir settust að í Winnipeg og þar kynntust Halldór og Olga. Hún var dóttir Sigurðar Davíðssonar og Sigríðar Jónsdóttur.
