Kristján Friðbjarnarson fæddist 19. júní, 1866 í S. Þingeyjarsýslu. Maki: Kristjana Sigurðardóttir f. 20. október, í S. Þingeyjarsýslu. Börn: 1. Friðbjörn f. 1895, d. 1. mars, 1918 2. Jónas f. 1900 Þau fluttu vestur til Winnipeg í Manitoba árið 1902 og fóru til Glenboro.
