Guðbjörg f. 1890 4. Þorsteinn f. 1891. Þau fóru vestur til Winnipeg í Manitoba ároð 1893. Settust að í Hólarbyggð í Saskatchewan um aldamótin. Með þeim var Jón Þorsteinsson, faðir Jóns.
