Sigríður Jakobsdóttir

Sigríður Jakobsdóttir fæddist í Mýrasýslu 8. apríl, 1871. Jakobson vestra. Ógift og barnlaus. Sigríður fór til Vesturheims árið 1900 og settist að í Winnipeg. Bjó þar alla tíð. Hún fékk fljótlega vinnu á saumastofu og vann við sauma hjá ýmsum verksmiðjum.
