Guðmundur Guðmundsson fæddist í A. Skaftafellssýslu árið 1867. Dáinn 1904 Maki: 1899 Sigríður Árnadóttir f. 3. september, 1865. Dáin 28.febrúar, 1960 Börn: 1. Vigdís f. 1888 2. Bergur f. 1901 3. Steinunn Fluttu vestur til Nýja Íslands árið 1902. Settust fyrst að í Ísafoldarbyggð en eftir lát Guðmundar flutti Sigríður í Framnesbyggð árið 1905.
