Jóhanna Jósefsdóttir fæddist árið 1803 í Skagafjarðarsýslu. Maki: Skúli Tómasson d. á Íslandi. Börn: Hafsteinn f. 1829. Jóhanna fór vestur til Ontario í Kanada árið 1874 með Hafsteini, syni sínum og dóttur hans. Þau voru í Kinmount fyrsta veturinn.
