Friðrik Metúsalem Árnason fæddist 22. júlí, 1850 í N. Múlasýslu. Dáinn 23. september, 1908 í Marshall í Minnesota. Matthew Anderson í Minnesota. Maki: Sigurborg Jósefsdóttir f. árið 1850 í N. Múlasýslu. Börn: 1. Oktavía f. 1884 2. Margrét f. 11. apríl, 1885 3. Ingunnf. 1887. Þau fluttu vestur til Minnesota árið 1888 og settust að í Marshall í Lyon byggð.
