Gestur Ingimundarson fæddist í S. Þingeyjarssýslu 1882. Dalman vestra. Hann fór vestur sjö ára gamall til Winnipeg í Manitoba með Guðjóni Jónssyni Vopna og fjölskyldu hans árið 1889. Bjó hjá þeim uns þau fluttu í Vallarbyggð í Saskatchewan árið 1900. Hann nam þar land en líkt og þeir þá flutti hann í Vatnasbyggð og keypti land þar með Jóni Björgvin …

Herbert (Herberg?) Fluttu vestur árið 1887 og vann Árni við námugröft til að byrja með. Tók land í Argylebyggð árið 1889. Flutti þaðan um aldamótin til Glenboro.
