Haraldur Sigurðsson: Fæddur í Húnavatnssýslu árið 1880. Drukknaði í Winnipegvatni árið 1908. Tók nafnið Vidal. Maki:  Ókvæntur og barnlaus Fór vestur með foreldrum sínum árið 1887 sem tóku land í Hnausabyggð. Haraldur og Sigurður bróðir hans tóku land í Víðir-og Sandhæðabyggð.

Grímur Grímsson fæddist í Húnavatnssýslu árið 1861. Ókvæntur og barnlaus, Grímur flutti vestur árið 1887, samferða systur sinni, Kristínu og hennar fjölskyldu. Þau settust að í Hnausabyggð
