Hólmfríður Guðmundsdóttir

Hólmfríður Guðmundsdóttir fæddist í Dalasýslu 30. ágúst, 1857. Ógift og barnlaus. Hún fór vestur með föður sínum, Guðmundi Jónssyni og stjúpmóður, Þuríði Halldórsdóttur. Samferða þeim var systir Hólmfríðar, Áslaug og hennar maður, Sturlaugur Guðbrandsson. Hópur þessi fór til Minnesota og settist að nærri Minneota.
