Sigurður Sigurðsson fæddist í V. Skaftafelssýslu árið 1859. Ókvæntur og barnlaus. Sigurður fór vestur frá Skúmsstöðum í Árnessýslu árið 1884. Mun fyrst hafa farið til Winnipeg en þaðan fór hann á Washingtoneyju í Wisconsin sama ár.

Margrét Jónsdóttir

Margrét Jónsdóttir fædd í Árnessýslu árið 1857. Maki: Gunnar Bjarnason d. á Íslandi. Börn: 1. Reginbald f. 1879 2. Sigríður f. 1880. Margrét flutti ekkja vestur með dætur sínar árið 1884. Þau fóru til Milwaukee í Wisconsin.
