Bjarni Guðmundsson: Fæddur í S. Múlasýslu árið 1826. Maki: Guðlaug Jónsdóttir f. 1819 í S. Múlasýslu, d. í Mikley. Fluttu vestur með syni Bjarna, Jóni og fjölskyldu hans, árið 1876. Fyrst í Mikley en svo í Geysirbyggð, þá var Guðlaug látin. Bjarni nam land í byggðinni sem eftir fáein ár sameinaðist landi Bjarna Furuvöllum.
