Children: Valgerður Hansdóttir b. April 15, 1881; d. December 19, 1959. Valgerður was Björg’s daughter and was registered as Hansdóttir as a child. This was later corrected, and she emigrated west registered as Kristjánsdóttir.
Stefán and Björg traveled from the Westmann Islands east Iceland around 1900, and in 1901 they are in Seyðisfjörður. Björg emigrated west in 1902 with Valgerður, who was then a widow with two children. Stefán emigrated west in 1904 and is listed as Guðmundur Erlendsson.
