Helga Bergsdóttir fæddist í Eyjafjarðarsýslu árið 1806. Ógift. Barn: Guðbjörg Grímsdóttir f. 1838. Helga fór til Vesturheims árið 1883 en þangað flutti Guðbjörg og hennar maður, Einar Einarsson árið 1879 og settust að í Nýja Íslandi. Þangað hefur Helga væntanlega farið

Sigurveig Jóhannesdóttir fæddist 13. maí, 1832 í S. Þingeyjarsýslu. Dáin í Manitoba 9. nóvember, 1899. Ekkja eftir Þorstein Snorrason d. 6. apríl, 1879. Börn: 1. Kristín f. 1869 2. Jóhanna f. 12. október, 1871, d. í Blaine 1918. Sigurveig og Jóhanna fluttu árið 1896 frá Húsavík vestur til Manitoba.
