Gunnar Jóhannsson fæddist 20. mars, 1874 í N. Þingeyjarsýslu. Ókvæntur og barnlaus. Gunnar fór vestur til Winnipeg í Manitoba árið 1893 og fór þaðan til N. Dakota. Vann ýmist í Mountain eða Pembina en árið 1907 fír hann heim til Íslands og bjó þar í tvö ár. Systir hans Dómhildur missti mann sinn frá þremur börnum. Hún fór með Gunnari …

Þóra Jóhannsdóttir

Þóra Jóhannsdóttir fæddist í N. Þingeyjarsýslu árið 1876. Dáin í Saskatchewan árið 1936. Ógift og barnlaus. Hún flutti vestur til Winnipeg í Manitoba með bróður sínum og systur. Bjó hjá þeim í Vallarbyggð fáein ár og einnig í Vatnabyggð þegar þau fluttu þangað árið 1915.
