Páll Andrésson was born on May 9, 1881 in S. Þingeyjarsýsla. He died in Manitoba on May 25, 1959. He had the name Paul A. Anderson in the west.

Páll came west with this parents and brothers in 1887 to Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family settled in the Argyle settlement and Páll grew up there. Páll ran a store in Glenboro in association with this brother Snæbjörn, that was called Anderson Bros. Guðrún came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1913 lived there for four years before returning home in 1919. She later returned west.
