Work on www.vesturfarar.is is both extensive and expensive. A grant from the Icelandic Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs enabled us to open the website for all to use free of charge. We also can continue our work in building it and translating texts until end of 2025. It will then be the property of the Icelandic Nation, housed and managed by the University of Iceland.
