Children: They had 12 children, eight of whom reached adulthood and three came to the West. It was Friðrik, Margrét and Snjólaug. Guðrún came west with Friðrik and his family in 1883 and she went to live with her daughter Margrét and her family in the Fljóts settlement in New Iceland.
