Elizabeth Sigríður Sigurðardóttir was born in Ontario, Canada on July 5, 1874. She died in Manitoba on July 4, 1951.
Spouse: Albert Jónsson b. in Akureyri on November 2, 1866, d. in Winnipeg on May 15, 1938. He had the last name Johnson in the west.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Sigurður Jóhannesson from Mánaskál and Guðrún Guðmundsdóttir who came west to Canada in 1873. They first lived in Ontario but then moved east to Markland, Nova Scotia, and named his land Hléskógar. In 1882 they moved to N. Dakota. Albert came to Winnipeg in 1887 and worked as a printer for the Lögberg. Later he opened and ran a meat shop for years. Later in life, he worked in house building and real estate sales. He became the Icelandic and Danish consul in Winnipeg in 1924.
