Júlíanna was the daughter of Jón Sigfússon and Anna Soffía Kristjánsdóttir, early settlers in Lundar. Sveinn came west by sea in 1902 and settled in Lundar. He was a shop keeper and sold farming equipment and tools, fish and animal furs.
