Ástríður Jónsdóttir was born in E. Skaftafellssýsla on June 16, 1877. She died on November 30, 1958.
Spouse: 1) 1897 Ólafur Björnsson (Thorlacius) b. November 15, 1868, d. in Winnipeg just after arriving there in 1902 2) June 2, 1905 Guðjón Jónsson b. September 30, 1881 in Hnappadalssýsla.

Ástríður came to the West with her husband in 1902. She lived in Winnipeg until 1907, then moved west to the Pacific and lived for a number of years in Vancouver. From there she moved to Blaine, Washington where she lived until 1936. She then settled in Bellingham and lived there until death.
