Einar and Thorbjörg came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1883 and then settled southwest of Pembina, N. Dakota. In 1900 they moved to the Framnes and Ardals Settlement in New Iceland. Juliana went west with her husband in 1878, but Einar’s other children moved with them, Ása Ingibjörg with his family, as well as Matusalem and Thorvard.
