Ólafur Einarsson was born in W. Skaftafellssýsla in 1867.
Unmarried and childless.
He emigrated west to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1895 and travelled up to Washington Island the same year. He lived there the rest of his life. Ólafur was the brother of Kristófer Einarsson who had emigrated west in 1887.
