Halldóra Árnadóttir was born on August 22, 1844 in W. Skaftafellssýsla. She died on January 27, 1929. She took the name Dora A. Johnson in Utah.
Spouse: 1) 1873 Loftur Jónsson b. July 24, 1814, d. August 20, 1874 2) April 17, 1876 Gísli Einarsson b. November 25, 1849 in W. Skaftafellssýsla, d. August 17, 1934. He took the last name Bjarnason in the west.

Halldóra emigrated west with Loftur in 1874 and settled in Spanish Fork. She married Gísli, who later married Halldóra’s half-sister, Maren Halldórsdóttir, when polygamy was legal. She had a difficult time with her husband having a second wife. She had a heart attack in 1920 and was bedridden until she died.
