Rannveig Þórarinsdóttir was born on September 22, 1875. She died on April 6, 1955 in San Diego, California. She was known as Rannveig (Veiga) Budvarson and Rannveig (Veiga) B. Johnson in the west.

He took the name Gisli Budvarson in the Western Home (Vesturheim) in honor of his father, Gísli Böðvarsson. 2) June 2, 1919 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada, Ingimundur Jónsson b. in Rangárvallasýsla on August 24, 1868, d. January 10, 1940 in San Diego.

Rannveig emigrated west to Utah in 1883 with her parents, Þórarinn Bjarnason and Brynhildur Jónsdóttir, while Gísli emigrated there in 1892. They moved to Winter Quarters near Scofield where Gísli worked as a coalminer. After he died, Rannveig moved back to Spanish Fork, but soon made her way north to Alberta, Canada where she married Ingimundur, a widower. They later moved south to California.
