Rósa Magnúsdóttir was born in Dalasýsla on October 15, 1882. She died in Blaine on January 11, 1944.
Spouse: April 7, 1904 Kristján Rósmann Steingrímsson b. in Dalasýsla February 26, 1858, d. in Blaine, December 16, 1832. He took the last name Casper in the west.

Kristján came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1882 and was there for two years. He moved to the Hallson Settlement in N. Dakota and was there until 1892. Life’s road led him north to the Lundar Settlement in Manitoba and he homesteaded north of Lundar. He returned later to N. Dakota, lived there about a year, but then moved to Roseau, Minnesota and lived there seven years. In 1902, he moved west to the Pacific and lived in Blaine until his dying days.
