Anna Kristín Jósepsdóttir was born in 1878 in S. Múlasýsla. She died before 1925 in N. Dakota. She took the last name Jósefsdóttir in the west.
Spouse: 1910 Magnús Benjamínsson b. in N. Múlasýsla on April 19, 1875, d. in Washington State in 1963. He took the name Michael Norland in the west.

Anna came west in 1879 with her parents, Jósef Arngrímsson and Kristín Jónsdóttir, to Minnesota. Magnús came west to Minnesota with his parents, Benjamín Þorgrímsson and Gunnhildur Magnúsdóttir, in the same year. They grew up in the Icelandic community in the southwestern part of the state. In 1900, Magnús began farming in Lincoln County, but in 1910, the newlyweds moved to N. Dakota and farmed for many years in McLean County.
