Þórstína Þorsteinsdóttir was born on February 22, 1868 in N. Múlasýsla. She died in Manitoba on March 28, 1952.
Spouse: June 3, 1893 Einar Guðmundsson b. July 1, 1862 in N. Múlasýsla, d. April 18, 1939 in the Lundar Settlement. He took the name Borgfjörð (Borgfjord) in the west.

Þórstína came west to Winnipeg in 1891 while Einar arrived a year later. They moved to Lyon County in Minnesota in 1890 and then moved to the Lundar Settlement in Manitoba in 1901 and bought land in the Mary Hill community.
