Spouse: Jón Jónsson b. in Dalasýsla on September 22, 1861. He died in the Mouse River Settlement in N. Dakota on May 29, 1943. He took the last name Goodman in the west.

Ingibjörg came west to N. Dakota in 1886 with her parents, Hjálmar Friðriksson and Metta Pálsdóttir. Jón came west to N. Dakota in 1881 with his mother, Helga Eyvindsdóttir, and her husband, Helgi Guðmundsson. They settled in Pembina County, but in 1886 Jón and Helgi went on an expedition west to Mouse River. There they found available land and decided to settle. Jón took land and he and Ingibjörg lived there until 1936 when they sold that land and bought acreage north of Upham.
