Sigríður Guðrún Erlendsdóttir was born on September 8, 1871 in Árnessýsla. She died on May 25, 1941 in Reykjavík, Manitoba.

They came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba, together with Sigríður’s brother Guðjón and his family. They moved to Bluff on the northern side of Lake Manitoba where they built a good estate. Sigríður married Jóhannes Baldvinsson after Ágúst died.
