Þorgerður Einarsdóttir was born in 1874 in N. Múlasýsla.
Spouse: Guðmundur Jón Jónsson b. December 1, 1867 in N. Múlasýsla. He took the name Gudmundur J. Rafnson and later John Robinson in the west.
Children: 1. Ólöf b. 1894 2. Celia b. May 20, 1897 3. Lillian b. 1898 4. Dorothy b. 1912.
Þorgerður came west in 1877 with her parents, Einar Jónsson and Ólöf Grímsdóttir. They settled in Yellow Medicine County in Minnesota. Guðmundur came west to Minnesota in 1888; his father, Jón Rafnsson; arrived there a year later. Guðmundur and Þorgerður lived for a number of years in S. Dakota where their daughters Celia and Lillian were born. They later moved back to Minnesota where Guðmundur was a hotel manager in Detroit Lakes, Becker County, Minnesota in 1920.
