Margrét Ingibjörg was the daughter of Loftur Jónasson who came west in 1873 and settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later in Minnesota. Her mother was Aðalbjörg Jóakimsdóttir who came west from Ísafjörður in 1874. Fritz was the son of the Dane Fritz Wilhelm Zeuthen who first lived at Eskifjörður and later in Reykjavík. His mother was named Thora Emilie Rasmussen.  Fritz came west across the sea in 1886 and settled in Minneota, Minnesota. He and Ingibjörg lived there the first years, then moved to Minneapolis and lived there a number of years. They moved back to Minneota for some time, but later lived in Minneapolis where their children lived.
