Ingibjörg Guðmundsdóttir was born in Strandasýsla on October 1, 1862. She died on March 18, 1931 in Winnipeg.
Spouse: Lárus Guðmundsson b. June 24, 1852 in Snæfellsnessýsla, d. April 29, 1940 in Gimli, Manitoba. He took the last name Goodman in the west.

Lárus and Ingibjörg came west to Winnipeg in 1887 with Guðmundur, Anna, Haraldur, and Þórarinn. Hjörtur arrived there in 1889. After some years in Winnipeg, they moved to the Árdals-Framnes Settlement near Arborg. Their life’s road led them to Minnesota and they now settled in Duluth. There lived Lárus’ sister, Halldóra, and her husband, Siggeir Ólafsson. In 1908, they returned to Winnipeg where they lived the rest of their lives.
