Ingibjörg Sigfúsdóttir was born in Akureyri in Eyjafjarðarsýsla on April 29, 1876. She died in Chicago Heights, Illinois on December 16, 1935. She took the name Emma Goodman in the west.
Spouse: Samuel H. Koffski b. in Canada in 1876, his father was Polish, but his mother was of English descent. He died on November 3, 1929.

Ingibjörg was the daughter of Sigfús Guðmundsson and Guðrún Árnadóttir. Western sources say Ingibjörg may have come to the United States in 1891 but where is left unsaid. Did she go first to Canada and then south to N. Dakota? There she met her husband and in 1900 they lived in Milton, Cavalier County, N. Dakota, and in 1920, she ran a restaurant in a hotel run by her husband in Montrose, N. Dakota. They still live together in Milton in the 1925 census, but in 1930, Ingibjörg lives with her son William Karl in Chicago.
