They came to America in 1893 and settled in Hallson, N. Dakota. From 1901 – 1907 they lived in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. From there, they moved to Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, but returned to Winnipegosis in 1913. They moved to Wynyard, Saskatchewan in 1918 and lived there a year. Then in 1919, they moved back to Winnipegosis and lived there until 1925. That autumn, they moved to Vancouver. They were not successful there and moved back to Winnipegosis once again in 1926. There they farmed and fished until 1935 when they retired and moved to Wynyard.
