Anna Sigurrós Jónsdóttir was born on July 25, 1869 in Dalasýsla. She died in Bradenbury, Saskatchewan on May 8, 1935.

They came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1888. They lived there the first two years, but then moved to the Þingvalla Settlement in Saskatchewan and took land. They moved back to Winnipeg after two years and then moved to the Grunnavatn Settlement. They lived there for almost four years, but due to Anna’s illness, they moved back to Winnipeg. After her husband’s death, Anna sold their house in Winnipeg and moved with her five children to the Þingvalla Settlement and lived there.
