Sveinn Einarsson was born in Barðastrandarsýsla on December 5, 1874. He died in Bellingham, Washington on May 12, 1961. He took the name Swain Westford in the west.
Spouse: 1907 Helga Þórunn Þórðardóttir b. December 2, 1881.
Children: They had 11 children, 7 sons and 4 daughters: 1.Victor 2. Einar 3. Grímur 4. Oscar 5. Fredrick 6. John 7. Sveinn 8. Christine 9. Jakobina Paulina 10. Ellen 11. Lillian.
Sveinn came west in 1884 with his parents, Einar Magnússon and Kristín Jónsdóttir. They settled in the Garðar Settlement where Sveinn grew up and married. He took land in the Mouse River Settlement and lived there until 1935. They moved with their children west to the Pacific and took land south of Blaine, Washington. They lived there after that. Helga came west in 1883 with her parents, Þórður Benediktsson and María Sveinsdóttir, pioneers in Pembina County, N. Dakota.
