Helga Þórunn Þórðardóttir was born on December 2, 1881 in N. Múlasýsla.
Spouse: 1907 Sveinn Einarsson b. in Barðastrandarsýsla on December 5, 1874, d. in Bellingham, Washington on May 12, 1961. He took the name Swain Westford in the west.
Children: They had 11 children, 7 sons and 4 daughters: 1.Victor 2. Einar 3. Grímur 4. Oscar 5. Fredrick 6. John 7. Sveinn 8. Christine 9. Jakobina Paulina 10. Ellen 11. Lillian.
Sveinn came west in 1884 with his parents, Einar Magnússon and Kristín Jónsdóttir. They settled in the Garðar Settlement in N. Dakota where Sveinn grew up and married. He took land in the Mouse River Settlement and they lived there until 1935. They moved west with their children to the Pacific and took land south of Blaine, Washington. They lived there after that. Helga came west in 1883 with her parents, Þórður Benediktsson and María Sveinsdóttir, pioneers in Pembina County, N. Dakota.
