Anna Soffía Kristjánsdóttir was born in Eyjafjarðarsýsla on November 28, 1854. She died on February 22, 1944.
Spouse: 1884 Jón Sigfússon b. in S. Múlasýsla on October 2, 1862, d. August 5, 1936 in the Lundar Settlement. He took the name John Sigfusson in the west.

Anna lost her parents at a young age and was fostered out to a number of farms. She came west in 1883. Jón Sigfússon came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1883. He used the next few years to look around and explore various possibilities. He then took land in the Lundar Settlement, near Green Lake in 1887 and is considered to be the first settler in the settlement. They lived in the Lundar Settlement the rest of their lives.
