Björg Stefánsdóttir was born on September 26, 1855 in Dalasýsla. She died on December 17, 1940 in Mountain, N. Dakota.
Spouse: 1890 Jón Davíðsson b. in Skagafjarðarsýsla in 1842. He took the name John Davidson in the west.
Children: 1. Vilhelm (W. M. Davidson) 2. K. D. Davidson 3. Guðbjörg.
Jón came west to Manitoba in 1876 and from there went to Pembina, N. Dakota after 1880. Björg came west in 1874 with her mother, Sigríður Eyvindsdóttir and her husband, Lárus Björnsson. They were in Manitoba until 1885, then moved to the Akra Settlement in N. Dakota. Jón and Björg moved west to the Mouse River Settlement in 1892 where Jón took land in the eponymous named Meadow County. Jón died in 1913 and Björg continued farming with the help of her son Vilhelm. He later took land north of Mountain and Björg lived with him in her later years.
