Kristín Eggertsdóttir was born in Mýrasýsla on April 9, 1880. She died in Winnipeg in 1969.
Spouse: Páll Árnason b. July 3, 1878 in Borgarfjarðarsýsla. He took the last name Reykdal in the west, d. September 13, 1951 in Winnipeg.

Kristín came west in 1887 with her parents, Eggert Jónsson and Sigríður Jónsdóttir. They settled in New Iceland, a short distance from Gimli. They later lived in Winnipeg and then in Narrows on Lake Manitoba. Páll came west the same year with his parents, Árni Jónsson and Helga Jónsdóttir. Kristín and Páll lived in the Lundar Settlement where Páll’s parents also settled in 1889.
