Anna Eiríksdóttir was born on February 26, 1868 in S. Múlasýsla. She died in Langruth, Manitoba on July 10, 1944. She took the name Anna Isfeld Jacobson in the west with marriage.

Anna came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1886 with her mother, Ingibjörg Einarsdóttir, her stepfather, Þorsteinn Jónsson, and family. Pétur came west with his parents, Sigurður Jakobsson and Sigríður Teitsdóttir, to Ontario, Canada in 1873 and they lived in Collingwood out by Georgian Bay. They moved from there to New Iceland in 1875 and lived there until 1879 when they moved to N. Dakota. Pétur moved to the Big Point Settlement in 1895 and lived there four years, but then took land in the Big Grass Settlement and lived there until 1911. He then moved back to Big Point.
