Anna Kristín Jónsdóttir was born in the Húnavatnssýsla on November 6, 1878, d. in Selkirk on November 27, 1947.
Spouse: 1897 Ingólfur Magnússon b. in Eyjafjarðarsýsla on July 2, 1874, d. in Selkirk on October 1, 1942.
Children: 1. Helga Lilja b. December 16, 1904, d. 1984 2. Ruth b. February 22, 1906, d. March 23, 1972 3. Magnús Jón b. 1907, d. 1942 4. Ingibjörg b. October 4, 1909 5. Guðmundur Harold b. February 22, 1912, d. February 13, 1970 6. Ásta (Esther) b. August 7, 1914 7. Thomas Richard b. September 22, 1916 8. Guðni Friðrik b. February 4, 1919 9. Ingólfur Kristinn b. December 11, 1921. Four other children died in childhood.
Ingólfur was in his first year when he came west to Canada in 1874 with his parents, Magnús Hallgrímsson and Sesselja Daníelsdóttir. They were in Kinmount for the first year then moved to Mikley in New Iceland in 1875. They made their way to the Fljót Settlement in 1883. Anna Kristín came west in 1887 with her parents, Jón Jónsson and Helga Lilja Guðmundsdóttir, who settled in the Hnausa Settlement. Ingólfur and Anna Kristín settled in Selkirk in 1899 and lived there the rest of their lives.
