Jörundur Hergeir Daníelsson was born in Snæfellsnessýsla on January 12, 1873. He died in the Lundar Settlement on January 28, 1961. He was known as Hergeir Danielson in the west.
Spouse: April 8, 1903 Kristjana Margrét Kristjánsdóttir b. in Dalasýsla on January 20, 1878, d. April 28, 1943.

Jörundur came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1894 with his parents and siblings. He learned stone masonry in the city and worked in the city until he moved to the Lundar Settlement in 1904. He took land and farmed from 1906 to 1944 but then he moved to Lundar and lived there after that.
