Árni Bjarni moved from Washington Island and went to Denver, Colorado. There he studied medicine and became a surgeon. He was in demand and lived in many places in the United States, including Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. In Elsinore, Utah, he became the primary care physician for Sevier County.
