Þorsteinn Jónsson: Fæddur á Gilsbakka í Hvítársíðu í Mýrasýslu árið 1876. Maki: Málfríður Pálsdóttir fædd í Stafholtstungum í Mýrasýslu árið 1879. Börn: 1. Guðrún fædd á Íslandi 1900 2. Málmfríður 3. Friðrik 4. Sæunn Fluttu frá Íslandi árið 1900 og bjuggu í Winnipeg fyrsta árið. Fluttu þaðan til Winnipegosis.

Guðmundur Guðmundsson was born at Sámsstaðir in Mýrasýsla in 1873. Unmarried and childless. He came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1898 and lived there first. He moved to Winnipegosis in 1899.
