Guðmundur Kristjánsson: Born in E. Skaftafellssýsla in 1864. Unmarried. Children: Guðlaugur with Steinunn Gísladóttir from Víðirhóli. He came west in 1903 but his father, Kristján Guðmundsson, and his brother Þóarinn came west a year earlier. Guðmundur bought land in the Víðir-Sandy Hills Settlement and lived there the rest of his life.

Hallur Jónsson: Born in E. Skaftafellssýsla in 1878. Spouse: 1916 Ólafía Vilhelmína Þóarinsdóttir b. 1897 in E. Skaftafellssýsla. Children: 1. Guðrún 2. Ólöf Helen 3. Lovísa Ragnheiður 4. Edward Wilhelm 5. Bertha. Hallur came west with his parents and the couple moved to her parent’s land in the Víðir-Sandy Hills Settlement.  

Margrét Bjarnadóttir was born in E. Skaftafellssýsla in 1881. Spouse: 1910 Sigurður Jónsson b. in Winnipeg in 1887, d. in the Lundar Settlement in 1959. He had the name Sam Johnson in the west. Children: 1. Mary b. 1911 2. David Thorleifur b. 1913, d. 1934 3. Sigmar b. 1915. Sigurður moved with his parents, Auðunn Jónsson and Sigríður Erlendsdóttir, to …
